Fullscreen Launches Sideways

In fullscreen this game always launches in "landscape" mode. Most modern monitors do not support a vertical landscape mode, and so they display it sideways. The game relys on monitor rotation to correctly orient. Either rotate monitor display, or launch in Windowed mode for correct orientation.
